A Young Girl sits in a chair surrounded by rich textures in an off-balance environment
All She Thought Was True
Mixed Media Textiles/Acrylics
40.5"H x 33"W

"All She Thought Was True" is part of a storytelling series exploring the emotional lives of young women and girls at various stages of their journey. It is created with archival acrylic paints and mediums on fabric. The images are created through a combination of monotype printing and direct painting on fabric.

The figure of the girl is loosely and expressively drawn. All around her, there are layers of rich textures, and the suggestion of an environment out of balance.

This work is mounted on birch plywood and framed from the back: your work will display approximately 2" away from the wall with a clean, wrapped edge.
